DAY 01/OCT 14: MANILA - KARACHI PAKISTAN

Depart Manila for your overnight flight to Karachi, Pakistan. Enjoy in-flight meals and entertainment.

 

DAY 02/OCT 15: KARACHI - HYDERABAD (L/D)

Arrive at Jinnah International Airport. Meet and greet the Tour Guide, then drive toward Hyderabad, stopping at Chaukhandi Tombs for its sandstone carvings, Makli Hills, one of the World’s Largest Necropolis and Shah Jahan Mosque in Thatta, a UNEXCO WORLD HERITAGE. Enjoy lunch at Garo before continuing. Arrive in Hyderabad, the city history back to 711 CE, when Muhammad Bin Qassim. , conquered the region. Then check in at hotel, dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 03/OCT 16: HYDERABAD - MOHENJO - DARO - SUKKUR (B/L/D)

After breakfast, drive to Sukkur for a tour of Mohenjo-Daro, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the “Mound of the Dead”and major Indus Valley Civilization city, flourished between 2,600 and 1900 BCE, and discovered in 1920's in Sindh Province. Considered as one of the World’s Earliest major Urban Center and Ancient Egyptian and Mesopotamian Civilizations, described as “Ancient Indus Valley Metropolis”a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch at a local restaurant. Then headings to Sukkur, dinner and tansfer to hotel for overnight.

 

DAY 04/OCT 17: SUKKUR - BAHAWALPUR

Early breakfast, drive to Bahawalpur with a stop for. Lunch at a Quetta restaurant, then visit Uch Sharif Tomb of Bibi Jawindi, one of the most recognized monuments of UCH. Continue to Bahawalpur, check in at Hotel, dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 05/OCT18: BAHALPUR - DERAWAR FORT - MULTAN (B/L/D)

After breakfast, visit Derawar Fort, optional camel rides available. Lunch at a local restaurant, then drive to Multan for city tour: Tomb of Shah Rukn-e-Alam and Shrine of Bahauddin Zakariya. Check in at hotel, dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 06/OCT 19: MULTAN - HARAPPA - LAHORE (B/L/D)

After breakfast, drive to Harappa (3.5 hrs) to explore the archaeological site and museum. Harappa, dating back to around 3000 BCE. Lunch near Sahiwal, then continue to Lahore. Check in at hotel, dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 07/OCT 20: LAHORE - ISLAMABAD (B/L/D)

Full-day tour of Lahore: Lahore Fort, Badshahi Mosque, Lahore Museum, and Wagah Border Ceremony. Lahore, originally constructed around 1516 A.D. by Mughal Emperor Akbar the Great. Then headings to Islamabad- Dinner & Overnight.

 

DAY 08/OCT 21: ISLAMABAD – KHEWRA SALT MINE - ISLAMABAD (B/L/D)

Depart for Islamabad via Khewra, visit the Salt Mines, the largest Salt Mines in Pakistan and the 2nd largest in the world. Lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to Islamabad. Dinner & check in.

 

DAY 09/ OCT 22: ISLAMABAD - TAXILA - KABUL (B/L/D)

Tour Taxila (UNESCO SITE): Taxila Museum, Sirkap, Jaulian Monastery, Dharmarajika Stupa. Dating 2nd Century BC and 2nd - 5th Century AD. Lunch locally. Return to Islamabad for a short city tour (Faisal Mosque, Super Market). Dinner, then transfer to airport for flight to Kabul. Upon arrival, explore Shah-e Do Shamshera Mosque, Bird Market, Old Bazaar, Bibi Mahro Hill sunset, Eidgah Mosque. Check in at Hotel for dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 10/ OCT 23: KABUL - BAMYAN - ANCIENT WONDERS (B/L/D)

After breakfast, drive 4 hrs to Bamyan, visiting the ruin of Gholghola, (City of Screams) Zuhak,(Red City) and colossal Buddha ruins. Dinner and overnight in Bamyan. Along the way, enjoy the scenic landscapes and take photos of the stunning countryside.

 

DAY 11/OCT 24: BAND-E AMIR - DRAGON VALLEY (B/L/D)

Visit Band-e Amir National Park, the country’s first national park, known for its bright blue lakes. Lunch (picnic or local restaurant). Continue to the dramatic landscapes of Dragon Valley, a unique geological site known for its fascinating rock formations. Return to Bamyan for dinner and overnight stay.

 

DAY 12/OCT 25: BAMYAN - KABUL CITY TOUR (B/L/D)

After breakfast, return to Kabul. Visit Babur’s Gardens, Sakhi Shrine, and the National Museum of Afghanistan. Dinner at a local restaurant or the hotel, then overnight stay.

 

DAY 13.OCT 26: KABUL - BAGHDAD (B/L/D)

After breakfast, fly to Baghdad, meet the tour guide, visit key sites including Tahrir Square, National Museum, Al-Mutanabbi Street, Al-Mustansariya School, Copper Market, and Al-Shaheed Monument, home to priceless Mesopotamian Treasures, susch as artifacts from URUK and ERIDU. After lunch visit Al-Shaheed (Martyr’s Monument) then dine at Darbona Restaurant and overnight in Baghdad.

 

DAY 14/OCT 27: BABYLON - KARBALA (B/L/D)

Drive to Babylon to explore old palaces, reconstructions by Nebuchadnezzar, and the modern Ishtar Gate replica. Discover the Ancient Palaces and reliefs. Continue to Karbala, a major pilgrimage city for Shia Islam the site of grand ceremonies during Ashura. Dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 15/OCT 28: URUK - MESOPOTAMIAN MARSHERS (B/L/D)

Visit Uruk (Warka), one of the world’s earliest cities and birthplace of cuneiform writing. Continue to the Mesopotamian Marshes for an immersive overnight stay with a Ma’dan family in a traditional reed house. Enjoy boat rides, local culture, and a serene night under the stars.

 

DAY 16/OCT 29: MARSHES SUNRISE - UR ZIGGURAT (B/L/D)

Wake up at 04:30 to witness a magical sunrise over the Mesopotamian Marshes, the location of the BIBLICAL GARDEN OF EDEN. Visit AL-QURNA’S-Symbolic confluence of the TIGRIS and EUPHRATES, and Marvel at the fabled “TREE OF KNOWLEDGE” Learn about Ma’dan life and wildlife before visiting the Ziggurat of Ur, the grand stepped Temple associated with the biblical figure Abraham, legendary homeland. Return to Baghdad for dinner.

 

DAY 17/OCT 30: SAMARRA - HATRA - MOSUL (B/L/D)

Today is one of the most powerful stretches of the journey. Begin with the Visit Samarra (Great Mosque, Malwiya Minaret) UNESCO SITE. On the way north we will stop at Hatra-The fortified capital of the first Arabian Kingdom and a flourishing cultural hub of the Parthian Period (1st Century BCE - 2nd Century CE. Then to Mosul (Heritage Centre, Old City night tour). Overnight in Mosul.

 

DAY 18/OCT 31: MOSUL - LALISH - ERBIL (B/L/D)

Morning exploration in Mosul before traveling to Lalish, the sacred Yazidi valley. Stop at a Christian town in the Nineveh Plains, then arrive in Erbil.

 

DAY 19/NOV 01: ERBIL (CITADEL, BAZAAR & CITY LIFE) (B/L/D)

Explore the Erbil Citadel, visit the Qaysari Bazaar, Jalil Khayat Mosque. Afternoon leisure time and an evening stroll on Askan Street. Overnight in Erbil.

 

DAY 20/NOV 02: ERBIL - BAGHDAD - MANILA (B)

After breakfast, transfer to Erbil International Airport for your flight back to Manila via Baghdad.
